Welcome to the Dinokeng Lofts Web site.  We are building a brand new Racing Pigeon Loft which is begging to be filled with racing pigeons from all over the world.

Dinokeng Lofts and The Ultimate Pigeon Race is hosted on their own 8 hectare property situated in lovely Bushveld surroundings, within the greater Dinokeng area. Dinokeng is the tourist destination for one of South Africa’s newest game reserves, the Dinokeng Game Reserve. The name "Dinokeng" means: Place of many rivers.

We are centrally situated approximately 4km north of Roodeplaat Dam, 16km north east of Pretoria, 80km from Oliver Tambo International Airport and 26km from Wonderboom National Airport.

Building of the Lofts will start on the 1st of June 2010 and will be finished around the end of July 2010, in time to receive the first entries in August 2010.

Our first race will take place on 21 August 2011 from the Gariep Dam, a race of ±600km, and will carry a total prize money of R3,375,000.
